Implant Affects Breast Sensitivity
If you get breast implant will if affect your breast
sensitivity? That is the most common question a patient should consider before
getting into breast augmentation surgery. Breast sensitivity depends on the
individual and the procedure involve. Breast sensitivity after the operation is
subject for discussion because responses depend on the patient itself. But in
most report they said that most women report no long-term differences in breast
sensitivity following breast enlargement surgery.
Loss of sensitivity is the most common side effect when
having the recovery of breast enlargement but it will regain the sensitivity
within few months after the surgery. The loss of sensitivity is in the nipple
or the surrounding area. It is due to pressure during the operation to
accommodate the implant. The sensitivity will return to your breast and you may
experience pain, itchiness, heat, and tingling.
Sometimes there is over sensitivity after breast enlargement
surgery. Some instances nipples may be highly sensitive and erect when it
adapts breast implant. Just like loss of sensitivity, over sensitivity will
eventually subside within few weeks or month after the surgery. If the rubbing
of cloth is painful and irritating then you can apply band aid to alleviate
sensitivity.
